Arthur Webster: Thanks to the KBC newsletter for introducing me to this group.
One of the major problems with cyber-friendship is that we really have no idea where we all live and a common failing on far too many profiles is the lack of a location.
I live on the Costa del Sol (Sunshine Coast) in the south of Spain in the autonomous region of Andalucia. The town is called Coín (pronounced co een) and, being surrounded by mountains, has it's own unique weather system. The last eight years have been marked by a severe drought which broke a few months ago but seems to be re-establishing itself. Coín is very lucky in that it has a huge, natural spring called El Nacimiento (the birth) which delivers ample fresh water for the town and most local urbanisations. The water is very hard and the installation of a water softener could significantly prolong the serviceability of boilers.
Most of this area is farmland with olives, avocados, oranges and lemons being the major crops. If Coín was cut off from the rest of Spain by some natural ca... ... more

garnet nagy A subject we all too often overlook in social networking and internet marketing is qualifying people as being who they say they are. I could tout myself as a childhood prodigy or the "King of upper South Canada Iceland" and some folks would probably buy into it despite the facts I have always been average and that CANADA has an elected Prime Minister as our "head of state" so to speak. People make some bold statements on social sites, be wary of all, especially anyone who brags a little too much...quite often these folks are not who they claim to be and simply promote themselves as something opposite to their true intentions. Be careful and stay tuned, more to come on this subject...

Dr Don Yates Sr PhD From a Friend: I checked this on snopes, it's true - Very Real Kids are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in plastic drink bottles and capping it up - leaving it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on driveways etc. just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the rubbish, but you'll never make it!!! If the bottle is picked up, and the bottle is shaken even just a little - in about 30 seconds or less it builds up enough gas which then explodes with enough force to remove some your extremities. The liquid that comes out is boiling hot as well. Don't pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the gutter, etc. Pay attention to this. A plastic bottle with a cap. A little Drano. A little water. A small piece of foil. Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!! No fingers left and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc. Please ensure that everyone that may not have email access are also informed of this. Graham Legg (owner) Reading Arthur's reply to Paula's article on the "Dangers of sharing", brought this to mind. There was a program on British TV the other week about the wolf making a strong comeback in North America, despite the indiscrimate killing by people who had feelings against their return. I fear it will be a lot slower, if at all, on social sites. Concience has been overtaken by greed. The wolves are finding it harder to make their presence felt, being shot at by sheep who are blinded by the words "free" and "reward" . Until someone takes a stand against the so called "Gurus" and the owners of the so called "Social site" feeding off these sheep then the avarice will continue until the wolves dissapear altogether.
Arthur Webster Does anybody know how many letters and spaces can be used in a Kooiii post? My last post was trunkated but still made sense so I have not published the bit cut off.
