Think about it! Do you really expect this to work? Of course not.
Still this is the approach I see on many profiles, rev pages and blogs.
Many members join, paste their opportunity on their profile and spend a lot of time posting links and/or earning credits/points/tokens what ever to post campaigns or adverts. And then wonder why few join and why the few that joined (mostly only to earn credits) do nothing.
This does not work in real life and it does not work in online marketing either.
People follow people. You will be surprised how many will follow you if you engage and contribute in a positive way.I.e. posting interesting/helpful articles, comment in a way that your comment ads value and share good stuff from others. Think about it, would you join an opportunity of someone you trust and value for his/her expertise or from a stranger with a blanc profile? This being said I would like to point out that you should ALWAYS do due diligence, even if the opp. is from your best friend. Because even your best friend can make a misjudgment.
When you are new on any social network you should give people the time to get to know you. Be helpful by giving tips on issues you know something about. At least you should know enough about the products/services you advertise to answer questions. If you do this people will check out your profile or signature link. So make sure your profile is the best it can be on any network.
